Our Work

Take a look at some of our recent projects.

Recently we have had the pleasure of working with Open Bionics. Open Bionics provide bionic arms to those who present with limb differences.

We worked together to produce a case study of Kath Treggena who lost all four limbs to Sepsis. The challenge in producing this video was balancing Kath’s incredible story whilst also showing the ‘product’ (Hero Arms) their functionality and how they aided Kath’s recovery.

We are proud of how this video was received and was featured in news and magazine articles worldwide.

We have worked with Netham Bamboo since they opened in 2018. Netham’s first priority was to build brand awareness as they developed their product.

Our brief was to introduce Netham, and build anticipation of the Bamboo bikes in development, without showing too many details of the bike itself. We continue to work with Netham as they grow and are developing a long term video strategy.

“As only a small team we have consistently found it difficult to create and maintain an effective online presence. Resulting in a website and media presence that did not reflect our business accurately or the quality of our services.

Punchline have been invaluable partners in the process of shaping the image of our business. I have been impressed by the time Calum has dedicated to understanding our business and working with us to form a long term media strategy. He has gone above and beyond to work around our busy workshop, as well as being sensitive to budget constraints.

We are already seeing the impact of the work Punchline are doing with us. Our website communicates the values and standards of our business much more effectively. In particular we have seen a significant increase in the diversity of customers using our service.”

Grove & Co are a men’s fashion brand that specialises in handmade shirts.

Grove & Co approached us with the aim of telling their brand story. Being a start-up with plenty of passion and a belief in British manufacturing we proposed a longer-form video telling the story of the compmnay.

The advantage of creating a ‘longer’ was it had the added impact of being easily adapted for shorter edits to be used on social media.

Grove & Co premiered the film in one of there pop-up locations and it had an immediate effect on sales.

“From the beginning, Calum understood our vision and took time to really get to grips with our brief. When we were shooting he put us at ease and was fantastic at directing, choosing shots and helping us tell our story. Calum’s videography and editing skills speak for themselves, and we’re super pleased with our video. We can’t recommend Punchline Media highly enough.”

We have worked as IOP’s media supplier for a number of years. Producing videos for training and recruitment, long-form documentaries, and marketing content.

In this example, we travelled to China to film a recruitment video with the aim of attracting particle physicists from across the world to study in China.

We worked with IOP over the course of a year to produce this video and IOP saw a measurable increase in application to Chinese Laboratories as a result.

“We engaged the services of Punchline Media for a very prestigious and complex documentary filming project in China. In addition to the filming itself at the Research Centre and at various locations, Calum assisted in the ‘storyboarding’ for the video and the production. He was always at ease with the clients, which resulted in some excellent interviews. His filming creativity produced some fantastic additional footage of Beijing. Punchline Media did not disappoint on this assignment and the client was delighted to have their video posted as sponsored content on physicsworld.com”
